Postage and Returns

The distribution facilities of The Natural Remedy Company are located in both the UK & USA which allows us to get your items to you as quickly as possible.

Fast Dispatch is our priority and our orders are shipped daily, usually within 24 hours of cleared payment. Orders placed before 15:00 GMT will be dispatched the same day. All UK orders are shipped by Royal Mail First Class Delivery FREE of charge.

An approximate estimation of delivery times from time of dispatch are:

  • UK: 1-2 working days
  • Mainland Europe: 3-5 working days
  • US/Canada: 5-7 working days
  • Rest of World: 7-10 working days

All delivery estimates made on shipping methods are based on estimates given by the relevant mail service - NOT guaranteed delivery times.

Please Note: We do NOT take responsibility for delivery time delays. Once your item is in the hands of the mail carrier we have no control over the time it takes to get to you. Usually delivery times are reliable but delays do occur over which we have no control.

Postage prices are as follows:

UK:

  • Shipping (Royal Mail 1st Class Standard) FREE
  • Shipping (Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded) £1.50 extra
  • Shipping (Special - Guaranteed Next Day) £3.75 extra

Europe:

  • International Signed For™ ~ signature required on arrival £3.95
  • Airsure Airmail ~ fully tracked to the destination  [Price on Request]

US/Canada/Australia/Asia

  • Shipping (Recorded Airmail) £7.95

All orders are posted in DISCREET PACKAGES - there is no advertising materials on the parcel you receive from us. If orders are returned to us due to non-collection from the post office, the postage costs to re-send the item must be paid to us before we can again dispatch the order.  

Back Orders

In the unlikely event that any items in your order are unavailable for immediate shipment we will inform you immediately however it is normally marked on the website should this be the case. The item(s) will then be shipped immediately once back in stock with no additional shipping charges. Items held in our US distribution facility are indicated on the website and will be shipped within 7-14 working days, the average time is 7 days.

Customs

Please note that customs and import policies in some countries prohibit the importing of herbal remedies and homeopathic products for personal use and in countries such as Australia you may need to obtain a licence in order to receive herbal or homeopathic remedies and it is your (the customers) sole responsibility to check with their own country's import policies before placing your order. Should your order be held or seized by customs then you will not be eligible for a refund & additional custom charges are the responsibility of you, the customer.

Lost Items

We cannot be held responsible for items which go missing in the post which are not sent by Recorded Delivery.  All items are sent via Royal Mail Post - except where another service has been requested and paid for (additional £1.50 for UK address for Recorded Delivery.)  In the unlikely event that an item goes missing which is sent by Recorded Delivery we will make an insurance claim on your behalf.  We are, however, NOT responsible nor liable for the loss or damage of items bought. Should an item sent from ourselves get lost or damaged by Royal Mail we will pursue a claim with Royal Mail. Items will not be considered as lost by Royal Mail until 15 days after the Expected Delivery Date (UK) & 6 weeks after for International parcels. Refunds or replacement items cannot be issued until this time has passed & the claim has been approved by Royal Mail (at the discretion of The National Remedy Company, replacement items are sometimes dispatched in the meantime)

Damaged Items

 If any item is damaged in transit then you must let us know immediately.  In order for us to pursue a claim for damages against the carrier, we MUST have either the orignal packaging or, in cases where this is not possible, photographic proof of the damage. NO REFUND will be given if packaging/photos cannot be provided.

Payment

  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover via PayPal.
  • We also accept personal cheques & Postal Orders
  • We will ONLY ship to PayPal confirmed addresses, if you do not have Paypal confirmed address, or you want us to ship to a different address other than your confirmed address, then please use another payment method or contact us to make arrangements prior to purchase. Please refer to PayPal for more information.

Europe & International Orders: We accept PayPal only. Pounds Sterling, American, Canadian Dollars, and Euros.

Terms and Warranty

TERMS:

We accept faulty and unopened items from Native Remedies only. Faulty items can be returned free of charge but for other reasons other than faulty, there will be a £2.20 charge per item if it is returned from a UK address which goes towards recovering our postage charge. Charges for returning an item from a non-UK address will vary according to the country.

Please email us prior to returning an item and ask for a returns number within 5 days of receiving the item. We will NOT process any refund/exchanges without a returns number.

For all other items on the site, if you are not completely satisfied with a purchase simply return it to us within 30 days of the purchase date for a refund excluding shipping & £5 administration fee (for any opened items). Any unopened items will not incur the administration fee but shipping fees will be deducted.

The buyer is responsible for return postage costs. We suggest you use Recorded Delivery or other traceable means as proof of posting is not proof of delivery. We will not accept any responsibility for items lost or damaged during return transit.
